2017 Band Trip

Dates: Wednesday, April 26th, 2017 to Sunday, April 30th, 2017
Destination: Chicago, IL, USA
Trip Cost: $1,025.00; includes all transportation via coach bus to Chicago, all local shuttles, accommodation in
Chicago, all festival fees, all festival clinics, tours & attractions, 4 breakfasts & 4 dinners as well as travel insurance.
Friday, October 28th: DEPOSIT $250.00 due; NOTE: Cheques/cash received on a first come first served basis for bus choice.
Monday, December 5th: BENCHMARK #1 $550.00 due; Benchmark #1 is up to the $550 level, i.e.: $550 owed, minus deposit,
minus any fundraising done, added any costs incurred.
Monday, February 27th: TRIP PAPERWORK due; NOTE: This paperwork received on a first come first served basis, and will
allow students to form rooms of 4. Those later with paperwork risk being split into other rooms such that we have full rooms of 4.
Tuesday, March 27: FINAL BENCHMARK $1,025.00 due; Final Benchmark is up to the final amount of $1,025, i.e.: $1,025 owed,
minus deposit, minus all fundraising done, added any costs incurred. Click here to view

NOTE #1: Students and parents will receive a detailed individual accounting for Benchmark 1 and Final payment owing.
NOTE #2: We strongly recommend that ALL students have a valid passport for this trip. There is some government
accommodation for school trips that allows students to travel without a passport. If you choose this option, you will
need to find out what documentation you do need to travel with, and also consider other needs and documentation should
the student be from a split family situation. If you do choose to travel without a passport (again, we do NOT recommend
this at all), and we run in to any problem at the border, then please understand that we will not be able to delay the
trip/bus for any issue that may arise and you will then have to take any steps necessary to resolve the issue first hand,
including coming to pick up your son/daughter at the border.
